


Registration for the 2026 GCHS First Pitch Dinner will be opening soon. The dinner will be held on February 7, 2026 at Pinnacle Golf Club.

Grove City High School is excited to announce the hiring of a new baseball coach, Robby Sexton who will take over the Grove City baseball program in August. Coach Sexton attended elementary and middle school in the Southwestern City School District and attended Franklin Heights High School for one semester as a freshman before his family moved to Pataskala. He graduated from Watkins Memorial High School in 2012.
Following high school Coach Sexton played baseball at Wright State University for four years before being drafted by the Boston Red Sox in 2016 as a pitcher and pitched in the minor leagues for three seasons.
Coach Sexton’s previous coaching experience includes serving as an assistant coach at Teays Valley in 2024 and 2025, at Canal Winchester in 2023, and at Ohio Christian University from 2019-21.
Coach Sexton succeeds Ryan Alexander who coached Grove City for the past 17 years compiling a 337-139 career record that included three state final fours, 10 OCC titles and six district championships.
